Scott Smith: The Ruins
Wow. I hated this book. Don't waste your time reading it, rent the movie. It might be better. (**)
Erica Spindler: Shocking Pink
You know, this one was just okay. A little too predictable for my tastes, and a little too easy to put down and forget about for several days. (***)
Lisa Gardner: Hide
Good Read. Interesting characters. Some predictability, but a good thriller/crime story. (****)
Michael Connelly: City of Bones
Liked it. My 2nd Harry Bosch book, and I do enjoy the character enough to keep buying them. (****)
Michael Connelly: The Poet
I enjoyed this book. Far from perfect it was engaging nonetheless. Pacing got a little frantic towards the end, but I was pleased. (***)
Erica Spindler: Copy Cat
Really enjoyed this book. Another lucky find at the airport souvenir shop. Interesting characters and nice pace. (****)
Michael Connelly: Echo Park
My first Connelly book. Really enjoyable read with interesting characters and plot. I will definitely be reading more from this author. (****)
Stephen Woodworth: With Red Hands
Second in the series. Really enjoyed this book as well. I do most of my reading in airports and on airplanes, but this one kept me interested enough to keep reading. I didn't want to have to wait for the return flight home to find out what happened next. (****)
J. K. Rowling: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Book 7)
Hmph. Ok. Not the best one, but a nice way to finish the series. (****)
Christopher Moore: A Dirty Job: A Novel
I love Moore, but everything will be compared to Lamb for the rest of his career as far as I'm concerned. This was a fun read, nonetheless. (****)
J. K. Rowling: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Book 5)
Good, but a bit long and too much teen angst. (****)
J.K. Rowling: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Book 6)
My favorite so far. (*****)
Sophie Kinsella: Shopaholic & Baby (Shopaholic)
Just okay. A little less "fun" than the others. (***)
Anne Frasier: Sleep Tight
This was another good airplane/travel read. Nicely wrapped story with good characterizations. I'm enjoying Frasier's writing and will continue to pick up her books. (****)
Sophie Kinsella: The Undomestic Goddess
Fun Chick-Lit read. (****)
DramaGods: Love
Gotta love Nuno.
INXS: Shine Like It Does
Nice compilation CD.
Elton John: Goodbye Yellow Brick Road
Hey! I just found this in my CD pile! I love this!
Andrew Lloyd Webber: Jesus Christ Superstar
I can't get enough of this one.
Extreme: III Sides To Every Story
This album is a journey. I had forgotten how much I liked it.
Various Artists: Buffy The Vampire Slayer - Once More, With Feeling
Awww...I love this album. I know it's from a cheesey TV show! It's still good, tho. So There!
Creed: Weathered
Who cares if they are assholes? I like the album.
Eminem: The Marshall Mathers LP
I know I'm not the target demographic - but this guy cracks me up
Fret not. You certainly haven't missed anything by missing Big Brother!
